About The Role

We are currently looking to recruit a permanent full time Grave Digger/Gardener within our Open Spaces Department. 

The role reports directly to the Open Spaces Supervisors, who lead and manage the GYS Open Spaces teams across Great Yarmouth.

The successful candidate will be required to work within a small team, with a minimum of supervision and be able to carry out physical tasks associated with the role.

About You

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate that they have the following skills, knowledge, and work experience:

  • Experience in the use of grounds maintenance equipment.
  • Physically fit with previous experience in similar manual works.
  • Full driving license
  • Any acceptable NPTC or LANTRA qualifications
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation
  • Knowledge of COSHH legislation
