Town Centre Cleansing Operative

Great Yarmouth Services Limited is a GYBC wholly owned Local Authority Trading Company which began on 1st April 2023. It was created to provide frontline and commercial services on behalf of the council.

GYS Ltd. are currently looking to recruit for the position of a Town Centre Cleansing Operative (Tuesday-Saturday), within our Street Scene Department. You will carry out day-to-day duties of designated areas within Great Yarmouth Town Centre, ensuring that the necessary standards are met and operating safely within GYS Policies and Procedures.

 Working hours will be 07:00-15:00, however overtime and Bank Holidays may be required as the service stipulates. Full UK driving licence is required.

The role reports directly to the Street Scene Supervisors who lead and manage the GYS Street Scene Department across Great Yarmouth.

The successful candidate will be required to work as part of a team with a minimum of supervision and be able to carry out physical tasks associated with the role.
