About The Role

Additional Information: Hours vary dependant on the needs of the service and shifts will be over 4 days of the week, predominately Tue-Fri, including some Saturdays and Bank Holidays, between 6am-5pm.

Great Yarmouth Services Limited is a GYBC wholly owned Local Authority Trading Company which started on 1^st April 2023. It was created to provide frontline services on behalf of the council.

GYS Ltd. is looking to recruit Casual Refuse Loaders to join our Waste and Street Scene service in Great Yarmouth.

As a Casual Refuse Loader, you will assist with the collection and disposal of waste from a variety of locations across the borough. You'll work as part of a refuse collection crew, supporting the driver and ensuring that collections are carried out safely, efficiently and courteously.

The role reports directly to the Refuse Supervisor who leads and manages the GYS Refuse Department team across Great Yarmouth.

The successful candidate will be required:

To work as part of a team with a minimum of supervision
To be able to carry out physical tasks associated with the role.
