Compliance Manager

We are looking for a Compliance Manager to deliver the function across the Council’s range of services.

Are you an experienced compliance professional ready to lead on landlord, building and other safety threads across a diverse property portfolio? We are looking for a Compliance Manager to help ensure the safety, integrity, and compliance of the authority’s assets, including housing stock.

In this vital role, you’ll lead a team of compliance officers and work collaboratively across service areas to implement robust safety strategies, ensure legislative compliance, and manage a wide range of contractor-led works. You’ll be at the forefront of creating a safer Borough.

The role will require you to:

• build and lead a team of, overseeing all aspects of compliance performance and improvement
• shape and update safety strategies and policies in line with legislation and best practice
• manage contractor performance and deliver housing compliance programmes.
• providing expert advice on key areas including fire safety, asbestos, legionella, and building risk management
•  ensure compliance through audit, assurance, and robust reporting mechanisms.
