Inward Investment and Regeneration Manager

About the Role

We’re looking for a dynamic and forward-thinking Inward Investment and Regeneration Manager to join our team and help shape the future of Great Yarmouth. Working alongside the Head of Inward Investment, you’ll play a key role in promoting the borough as a prime destination for business growth and investment.

You’ll lead on high-profile, high-value projects, manage key stakeholder relationships, and help secure and deliver funding through programmes such as the UK Shared Prosperity Fund and the Rural England Prosperity Fund. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a tangible difference to our local economy and communities.

Key Responsibilities

• Champion Great Yarmouth as a place to invest, live and work.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local businesses and national stakeholders.
• Lead regeneration initiatives and inward investment projects aligned with council priorities.
• Develop and manage funding pipelines and successful bids.
• Represent the borough at key events and conferences.
• Drive improvements in town centre resilience and skills development.

What We’re Looking For

• A strategic thinker with a strong understanding of economic development and inward investment.
• Proven experience in managing complex projects and partnerships.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills across all levels.
• A track record of securing funding and delivering successful bids.
• Strong political and commercial acumen.

Desirable

• Experience in place marketing and managing grant programmes.
• Background in inward investment, place promotion or key account management.
