About The Role

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join our Revenues Support Team. If you are looking for a challenging, busy and rewarding role where you can make a difference then this role could be for you.

The post is offered on a Maternity Cover until 31.03.2027. This is a part-time position – 22 hrs per week, preferably over 4 day week, Monday-Thursday.

As a member of the team you will have your work allocated to you weekly to cover the variety of tasks and jobs that we deal with such as:

  • Administer payment runs, Direct Debits and refunds,
  • Create new users with appropriate levels of access, manage job queues and daily housekeeping tasks
  • Complete reconciliations that support Council Tax, Local Council Tax Support, Housing Benefits, Non-Domestic Rates and Sundry Debts.
  • You will be able to demonstrate a high level of organisational skills and accuracy in your work, have the ability to deal with a variety of incoming work and to work to tight deadlines.
  • You must be able to work with the minimum of supervision while working with the team to help with system development and improvements.

This role requires a satisfactory basic disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).

About You

  • To have experience of effectively using IT systems such as word, excel, outlook
  • The ability to deal with problems and the ability to interpret User Guides, System Administration Manuals and software user notes.
  • The ability to carry out a number of reconciliations between various systems as well as keeping detailed records when required to help with the cash imports and exports.
  • Excellent communication skills, be able to communicate effectively at all levels with a highly professional approach to advice other system users
  • You will be able to demonstrate your commitment to quality and performance and be enthusiastic about new initiatives and forthcoming changes.
