About The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic plasterer to join our Repairs and Maintenance Team.
 
Our team supports responsive repairs, planned works, refurbishment projects, ensuring that we provide a positive experience for residents through our professional conduct and excellent workmanship.
 
This role will involve;
  • Inspecting and conducting routine maintenance to domestic and commercial properties 
  • Undertaking a range of building works to GYBC properties 
  • Carrying out surface finishes, minor demolition and ground works 
  • Ensure good quality workmanship, which upholds company standards, complies with building regulations and follows safety requirements ensuring that an effective service is provided
This post requires a satisfactory basic disclosure check (DBS).
 
This post is a 1 year Fixed Term post.

About You

We are seeking an individual with a knowledge of good practice in relation to health and safety regulations, availability and flexibility to work on the out-of-hours emergency call out rota, alongside extensive experience of working as a plasterer.

The successful candidate will hold a recognised Plastering technical qualification (NVQ Level 2 & 3 or equivalent) and you will need to be comfortable and have the ability to work at heights. You will also require a full UK driving license (no more than 6 points or below 7).
