The role, which sits within the Business Support Team, supports the Environmental Services Department to ensure high levels of customer service and provide initial advice and guidance to members of the public and businesses on all matters dealt with by the service. Applicants should enjoy working within a fast-paced environment and be used to delivering exceptional customer services in a proactive manner. You must also be used to dealing with the general public in difficult and often challenging situations.
The applicant will be required to receive, log, and process complaints and enquiries from members of the public and businesses, ensuring all information is accurately captured and entered. To provide high-quality administrative support to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the service. You will also be required to undertake a wide range of duties, including utilisation of various IT systems, raising purchase orders, assist with the processing of invoices, organise and attend meetings, including taking accurate minutes. You will also support in maintaining the day-to-day operational support across the Department.
