About The Role

Bereavement Services are seeking caring and self-motivated people to work as part of a small team located at The Crematorium, Magdalen Lawn Cemetery in Gorleston.

The posts are on a casual basis only, to cover holiday and sickness for the permanent members of the Bereavement Services Team. Applicants must have the availability, flexibility and commitment to cover at very short notice.

Duties will include pall bearing, preparing the chapel in accordance with the requirements of each group of mourners, display and disposal of floral tributes in designated areas, operation of a computerised music system as and when required.

You will also ensure that all areas of the complex are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness.

About You

Ideally you will have previous experience in this type of service industry and hold a valid manual handling certificate. You will have experience of working within a team while showing initiative. You will be able to prioritise your work while working in a methodical and accurate way. Whilst also having extensive experience of working with members of the public and dealing with sensitive situations.
 
The successful applicant would be required to provide their own suit (dark grey or black) and black shoes for work use.
