About The Role

We are currently looking to recruit for the position of a Horticultural Fitter within our Maintenance Department. Working alongside the maintenance team providing maintenance and repairs to the companies horticultural equipment, plant equipment and van fleet.

The role is offered on a permanent basis, working 41 hours per week, with the requirement of some Saturday and bank holiday working as and when the service requires. 

The role requires the successful candidate to perform repairs and preventative maintenance on Horticultural equipment, plant equipment and LCV's. Ensuring safe working practices are followed and any issues are reported to the workshop supervisor.  Alongside diagnosing and fault finding issues, with MOT preparation of vehicles and attendance at breakdowns, as and when required.

About You

The successful candidate will be required to work as part of a team with a minimum of supervision and be able to carry out physical tasks associated with the role.

A good knowledge of horticultural, plant and vehicle maintenance operations is essential for the role, as is knowledge of diagnostic software such as Eclipse/Jaltest. Along with the requirement to be able to demonstrate experience or the ability to evidence your skills in a similar role.
