We are looking for an Income Officer to join our Housing Income Team on a Permanent contract to deliver a supportive service approach to sustaining homes of its residents for over 5700 Council homes and 370 Leaseholders across the Borough of Great Yarmouth.
As an Income Officers you are the first point of contact with our tenants delivering high standards of customer service. If you are self-motivated, have experience in communicating with customers, have a strong customer focus and are passionate about making a difference to people’s lives, this opportunity is for you we would really like to hear from you.
The team is a busy customer facing service responsible for setting up and managing rent accounts, service charges, sundry debts and garage accounts. Maximising income collection across the housing service. The delivery of the Service charge billing and income collection in relation to the Council’s leaseholders. The team is also responsible for the co-ordination of Right to Buy applications to meet statutory deadlines.
It is a requirement of the role to have a driving licence and access to your own transport.
