Accommodation Management Officer

We are recruiting Accommodation Management Officers to provide on-site housing management at a supported housing scheme for single people.  The role requires the post-holder to undertake shift work to ensure the scheme has a staff presence at all times.  You will be responsible for ensuring a well-managed accommodation scheme.  This includes day-to-day management, ensuring accommodation standards are maintained.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate that they have the following skills, knowledge and work experience:

• A relevant qualification in housing, health or social care or a related field or equivalent experience
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and organisational skills
• Ability to build strong relationships with residents, staff, and external partners
• Experience of working in supported accommodation or working with vulnerable populations
• Knowledge of relevant housing, safeguarding, and health and safety legislation
• Experience of working with external agencies and service providers

You will be compassionate and empathetic, with a genuine commitment to improving the lives of vulnerable individuals.  You will be resilient and able to manage stressful or difficult situations.  You be flexible and adaptable, with a proactive approach to managing challenges.
