About The Role

The successful candidate will carry out day to day cleansing duties of the Borough's toilet blocks as defined by the Street Scene Supervisor. You will carry out cleansing duties of the toilet blocks in the Borough of Great Yarmouth and surrounding ares, whilst complying with Health and Safety Regulations and the training provided.

The role will require you to work 44 hours per week in peak season (six months – 01 April – 30 September) and 30 hours in off peak (six months – 01 October – 31 March) Monday - Sunday. Shift pattern of 5 days on, 1 day off recurring during Summer, and 3 days on, 3 days off recurring during Winter. Full UK driving licence is required.  

Great Yarmouth Services Limited is a GYBC wholly owned Local Authority Trading Company which began on 01 April 2023. It has been created to provide frontline and commercial services on behalf of the council. 

The role reports directly to the Street Scene Supervisor who leads and manages the GYS Street Scene Department team across Great Yarmouth.

About You

The successful candidate will be required to work as part of a team with a minimum of supervision and be able to carry out physical tasks associated with the role.
