This role provides a great opportunity to be part of a passionate team who are responsible for the administration and collection of Council Tax including Council Tax Support. This is predominantly a back office role.
You will also be required to deal with enquiries from the public either in writing, emails, over the telephone or in person including discounts, exemptions, and reductions, making arrangements for payment and giving advice regarding liabilities
You are required to be numerate and literate to levels indicated by four GCSE passes at grade C including English and Maths
Competent in Microsoft Office applications
Competent in Microsoft Office applications and preferably Civica Open Revenues however this is desirable.
You will need to have the ability to be calm under pressure and be able to work under demanding circumstances.
You will also have excellent communication skills and be able to communicate effectively at all levels. You will be able to demonstrate your commitment to quality and performance and be enthusiastic about new initiatives and forthcoming changes.
This is a part-time position - 25 hrs per week.
