We are looking for a Facilities Management Team Leader to oversee the corporate portfolio and ensure that all FM related tasks are delivered.
What will you be doing?
You will oversee the porterage team ensuring that all related duties are programme and managed across the corporate portfolio. You will liaise with the events team and understand the programme of events ensuring that relevant cover is provided for events.
The FM Team Leader will ensure that good practice and policy is adhered to within the team and regular audits will be required to ensure that a high standard is delivered.
You will be responsible for the Marketplace officers and ensure that the market place has suitable cover and that all tasks are completed.
Regular audits on the cleaning of the buildings will be required and ensure that this is kept to a high standard. With the overall maintenance and programming of relevant works are programmed in across the corporate portfolio.
You will ensure that all works adhere to H&S and compliance guidelines.
The post if offered on a permanent contract.
The property and Asset team are responsible for delivering management and maintenance services to the Council’s commercial, investment and office portfolio, comprising approximately 900 individual assets. The department collaborates closely with colleagues across the council along with partner organisations and contractors to deliver a challenging and varied workload. The Council benefits from having properties ranging in age between 5 and 150 years old, so there is always the professional challenge of fitting the latest technology and legislation into a wide variety of assets.
This role offers hybrid working arrangements requiring you to work from the corporate office buildings, make site visits as well as the flexibility of home working as appropriate.
