About The Role

Are you looking for a new challenge and a role which will allow you to build relationships which help people make a real difference to their lives?

We are looking for a Compliance and Systems Technical Assistant to join our Property and Asset Management Team to deliver of high-quality customer focussed repairs and compliance service, including the delivery of planned and cyclical programmes of work.

The post if offered on a permanent contract.

The property and Asset team are responsible for delivering management and maintenance services to the Council’s commercial, investment and office portfolio, comprising approximately 900 individual assets. The department collaborates closely with colleagues across the council along with partner organisations and contractors to deliver a challenging and varied workload. The Council benefits from having properties ranging in age between 5 and 150 years old, so there is always the professional challenge of fitting the latest technology and legislation into a wide variety of assets.

This role offers hybrid working arrangements requiring you to work from the corporate office buildings, make site visits as well as the flexibility of home working as appropriate.

About You

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate that they have the following skills, knowledge, and work experience:

  • To have experience of effectively using IT systems such as word, excel, outlook in order to prepare and maintain case records, communicate in writing at all levels and analyse written and numerical information.
  • Experience of working effectively with key agencies and partners.
  • Experience of managing a caseload.
  • Working knowledge of maintaining databases to record information precisely.
  • Experience of completing in depth assessments and producing planned co-produced support plans focused on setting and achieving goals.
  • Demonstrable record of providing advice and support to clients.
  • Experience of working with a CRM system
  • Understanding of works orders and how to manage a pipeline of outstanding works
  • Understanding of Compliance and the necessary Planned Preventative Maintenance schedules.
  • Experience of developing strong relationships which allow agreed goals to be met
