Senior Homeless Prevention Officer PRS

Are you passionate about preventing homelessness and making a real difference in people’s lives? We are looking for a skilled, proactive Senior Homeless Prevention Officer (PRS) to join our Housing Advice & Homeless Prevention Service.

In this specialist role, you will lead on complex casework, deliver early intervention, and provide expert guidance on the RentersRights Act 2025, ensuring residents at risk receive high‑quality support. You will identify misuse of possession grounds, secure adjournments where needed, and support the wider team through training and performance insight.

The post if offered on a Fixed Term Contract / Secondment until 31 March 2028. If applying for the position as a secondment, you must obtain your line manager’s approval before applying for the position.

This role requires a satisfactory basic disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
